        I’ve been living a sedentary lifestyle for quite some years now. Slowly during Isolation, I found myself wanting to move my body more and I didn’t want to feel pain from sitting for too long.       I have very little options for a lower lumbar issue,so awaiting surgery.
      Would love the opportunity to see my body strengthened in preparation for that,so my recovery is quicker.I have also gained weight with being less mobile,and often feel quite hopeless.

    I’ve done reformer pilates a few times before and feel that it gives my body a challenge but at the same time relaxes my muscles. I really want to get back in shape, lose some weight especially around my torso and strengthen my core!     Since my first pregnancy in 2015, I struggled to lose weight and keep fit. My weight kept fluctuating. With a baby, I struggled to get into routine and exercising was the last thing I wanted to do especially with my incontinence issue due to my traumatic birth. When I finally did find the chance to get back into routine, I was pregnant again with my second in 2018. With the pandemic happening, mental health was very important. I brought my children out to the park almost each day. And then I realise,I am not as fit as before. I have become lazy. I couldn’t even run far without stopping to catch a breath. I am now determined as ever to get back in shape. Lose some weight. Get toned. Get fit. Be happy. I am doing this for my kids. For myself.

    During the pandemic, I lost my job and so a bit of my confidence. Going back to best body will give me structure, body strength and mind focus (and less back pain!) .

    I joined best body just as the pandemic started and the club had to close. Due to this I have never been to a class and just when I was finally ready to start my fitness journey and take responsibility for my health I no longer had that option.

    I have been working from home for 9 weeks now which is completely isolating and makes it hard to achieve any physical activity or have motivation, it has been a huge strain on my mental health
    I had to take over as sole payer of rent and some household expenses for the start of the pandemic which means my savings took a hit.

    I think I would benefit from the three month membership as it would give me my motivation and energy back and finally help me feel good in my own skin.

    Before the pandemic I unfortunately was hit by a car by an impatient uber driver while I was walking across a road.‍♀️ I had to stop all exercise to start to heal and recover . It has now been 4 months since I have done anything except a couple of walks.     I joined BB in January because I really wanted to place an emphasis on my self-care for 2020 both physically and mentally. For a few years since having my son I have struggled with my weight, hormone imbalance, mental health and just finding enough time in the day to find some inner peace from the chaos of the day. Nothing could have prepared me for the changes I saw after attending BB consistently for 3 months. I felt stronger, fitter, healthier and more positive about my outlook on life. Its almost as if BB was the final piece of the puzzle to help me excel in all areas of my life and ground me.     Best Body Perth and the lovely community there had been setting me up to drastically improve my fitness. Over the past 2/3 months I have tried to keep the gains I made but without the instruction (especially from Para) and the reformer the strength around my glutes, hips and back and my flexibility seem to have evaporated, and for me these drive my improvements for when I jog, try to surf, try to dance and try to remember to sit properly at the computer while toiling away at home!. Three months to go three times a week would help me oh so much to try to regain some this general conditioning which has slipped away, so far away.

    I want to transform the way I strengthen my body because the way I used to do it is no longer working for me. After years of lifting heavy weights and playing high impact sports my knees are so painful due to tight muscles and my range is very poor. I’m only 37 but move like and old lady. I would like to invest in building strength in a different way and would love to increase my flexibility and be able kneel on the ground when I’m playing with my kids without being in pain.

    Once you reopen i will be a new member, im super excited to get back into shape.
    Ive definately put on extra kilos, Its been a long 2 months unable to work my home beauty business.
    My body has suffered due to my lack of movement and constantly having to keep my mindset in check!
    Prior to this a pilates reformer has aided in rehab for a back injury, i loved how strengthening my core enabled me to take control of my health, fitness and moat of all i had eliminated my back pain! I felt incredible.
    I cant wait to be social again, ive realised how important simple social interactions are for our basic human needs. Im so glad you get to open and so do i. Needless to say i would love to gain membership and support local. Thanks again

    When I was 17 I gained a tremendous amount of weight….like legally I was obese. It was a combination of bad diet, poor mental health and no exercise. I started to run and stopped binge eating which along with my new found friends at work and university allowed me to lose 25 kilograms. For the first time in my life, I liked my appearance, I felt sexy. I stopped starving myself, started to feel healthier both in mind and body and I think the balance was truly found. Since my initial improvements, I’ve always shifted between feeling fulfilled and wanting more, and Pilates has been a goal of mine for so long in finally getting to that 100% confident feeling. I finally decided to join in 2020 after years of being too lazy, however, my membership was just as the COVID-19 started and I never was able to begin a full membership. I am committed to the idea of BB regardless but during this pandemic, I started to feel like I was in high school again. Living in my parents’ house, eating more than usual, and isolated – no longer having my friends or work to keep me busy. For me the membership is a challenge, to not give up again, and to finally be the person I know I can be. I will be in classes regardless, but if I was able to have a 3 day a week membership, it will not only push me out of my comfort zone but I want to create new relationships within the studio staff and members. I want (will) remove that stubborn tummy fat I’ve had my whole life, be able to overcome sciatica which I had last year and in general be a happier person with the help of BB!! :))))

    BB CBD studio is first Pilates studio I’ve tried and I love it. I used to have 3 class a week. And it helped my core strength improved and toned up my body. After 2 months lockdown, I need 3 months reformer to tone up my body and get my body system works better again. In 3 months I’m sure I can lose weight and toned. Can’t wait to be back in class again!!

    I was one of the first BB CBD members and I was amazed at how it transformed my body. After years of boxing and high intensity cardio, I was doubtful that reformer was ‘intense’ enough for me… then I met Krupa and Flick. I was wrong! The change in my body was incredible. I was stronger and fitter than I had ever been. But a promotion at work made it harder to commit to classes and I Iet my membership lapse. After months of not moving my body at all, it’s sore and it’s weak. I don’t find myself drawn back to the higher intensity training that I would usually do; I’m drawn to pilates. I think being back on the reformer will improve my fitness as well as right the wrongs the last few months have taken on my body. Iso has made us all reassess what’s important, and I know that you only get one body, and prioritising it is the most important thing.

    I was a best body member recently right up until 39 weeks pregnant in March. Reformer pilates did wonders in helping prepare me for birth, but I was unprepared for the global pandemic. Being a first time mum was already super challenging. Having a “corona baby” at the height of a public health crisis aded a level of anxiety and stress I was unprepared for, not to mention robbing me of the support of loved ones while baby and I self isolated for months. This membership will help me feel ‘whole’ again; not only restore my physical strength after a tolling pregnancy and labour, but more importantly strengthening my mind and help give me a sense of normality and ownership ovre my body after the hardest few months of my life.
